Vaccines - Adult PCV13 Subsidy Scheme Clinic List

Eligible elders (65 or above) may receive subsidised pneumococcal vaccination (PCV 13) at enrolled clinics - check the availability and book now.

VSS

Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (VSS)

The subsidy to be provided by the Government under the VSS to the doctor is $760 for each eligible elderly with high risk conditions receiving one dose of PCV13.

HCVS

Health Care Voucher (HCVS)

The HCVS aims to subsidise elders’ use of the private primary healthcare services. If user has used vouchers to settle the service fees of an enrolled healthcare service provider, the voucher amount will be reimbursed to the healthcare service provider.

Eligible for elderly 65 years of age and older with one of the below high-risk conditions:

  • History of invasive pneumococcal disease, cerebrospinal fluid leakage or cochlear implant
  • Chronic cardiovascular (except hypertension without complication), lung, liver or kidney diseases
  • Metabolic diseases including diabetes mellitus or obesity (Body Mass Index 30 or above)
  • Immunocompromised states related to weakened immune system due to conditions such as asplenia, HIV/AIDS or cancer/steroid treatment
  • Chronic neurological conditions that can compromise respiratory functions, the handling of respiratory secretions, increase the risk for aspiration or those who lack the ability to take care of themselves
